The NSW Government operates a School Swimming and Water Safety Program which is an intensive learn to swim program which develops water confidence and provides students basic skills in water safety and survival. The scheme is conducted over ten days. Each lesson is 45 minutes.
Students who have not reached a satisfactory standard of water safety and survival skills, and who are unable to swim at least 50m confidently and unaided in deep water, are encouraged to participate in the School Swimming and Water Safety Program.
AS THERE ARE PLACES AVAILABLE – ALL STUDENTS FROM YEARS 2-6 ARE NOW ABLE TO TAKE PART IN THE PROGRA M
The total cost of the program is $100 per student which covers pool entry and bus travel each day.
