Representative Sporting News

During Week 5, Orlando G traveled to Wallsend as a member of the Sydney East Regional Touch Football to compete at the NSW State Carnival.

Amidst very tough competition the Sydney East team finished 6th.

This was Orlando’s 3rd year as a member of this team, which is a wonderful achievement.

The following week Justice F competed in the NSW State Carnival for Rugby Union. The Sydney East team finished 3rd and Justice was selected in the NSW team.

It was particularly wonderful to receive this letter from the SE Rugby Union team manager after the carnival:

Dear Principal and Sport Coordinator,

I am Lauren Brash, the Sydney East PSSA Rugby Union Manager.

This week Elliott McKimm (SEPSSA Rugby Union coach) and I had the pleasure of taking Justice F, from Oatley PS to the NSWPSSA Rugby Union Carnival at Richmond.

Justice showed outstanding behaviour, was gracious in our wins, as well as defeat and was a brilliant representative for the game, your school, their district/zone and our regional association. Justice was especially valued for his work ethic and outstanding try scoring abilities.

Our team had a very successful carnival, coming in third place. Justice was also picked for the NSWPSSA team!

On behalf of Elliott and myself, please pass on my congratulations to Justice. It was wonderful to get to know him and be a part of his sporting journey.

Congratulations again to Orlando and Justice!
