Online Friends and Strangers: Cybersafety Virtual Classroom

Along with many other schools in NSW, two of our primary classes 4R and 5K attended a cybersafety virtual classroom session on “Online Friends and Strangers” last Tuesday. These interactive sessions are run by specialist teachers from Aurora College, enabling schools to join in on the discussion around cybersafety and simultaneously share student ideas and responses.

By the end of the session, the year 4 and 5 students learned how to:
  • Establish personal online safety boundaries
  • Identify situations which may impact their online safety
  • Seek help when dealing with unsafe situations online.
